Volunteer (VIPS)

You can become a Volunteer in Public Schools (VIPS)! Our needs vary throughout the year, but can include activities like:

  • tutoring students
  • making copies or die-cuts for teachers,
  • shelving books in the library,
  • and many other odds and ends.

All volunteers must pass an online background check before they may start. We also request that volunteers log their volunteer hours, which helps us plan for different needs and benchmark against other schools. Both of these things can be accomplished with the links at the top of the district-level VIPS website.
